NatGold Digital Delists NATG Token From MEXC Exchange
NatGold Digital is removing its NATG token from the MEXC crypto exchange following actions taken by the U.S. Treasury Department.
NatGold Digital Ltd. announced Friday it is initiating the immediate delisting of its NatGold token, ticker NATG, from MEXC, a global cryptocurrency exchange where the token is currently traded. The Coral Gables, Florida-based company said the move was prompted by actions taken by the U.S. Treasury Department.
The decision marks a significant compliance-driven pivot for the company, which markets NATG as a digitally tokenized representation of certified gold mineral assets. By voluntarily removing the token from MEXC, NatGold signals its intention to align its exchange listings with the regulatory expectations of U.S. financial authorities rather than contest the Treasury's position.

MEXC is one of the larger global crypto trading platforms by volume, serving users across multiple jurisdictions. A delisting from such a venue can materially affect a token's liquidity and price discovery, raising questions for existing NATG holders about where and how they will be able to trade the asset going forward.
The announcement underscores the growing pressure U.S. regulators are placing on digital asset issuers to scrutinize the exchanges and counterparties with which they do business. Treasury Department actions in the crypto space have previously resulted in exchange sanctions and access restrictions that forced issuers to act quickly to avoid secondary liability.
NatGold Digital has not publicly detailed the precise nature of the Treasury measure that triggered the delisting, nor indicated which alternative venues, if any, it plans to pursue for future NATG listings. Continue reading at All Financial Services & Investing.
